The MOLEWA International Competition was held by UIA, Ruichang Municipal Government and Hua Yan Group. More than 130 entries were submitted, from over 40 states/countries.
 
The investment of the MOLEWA project exceeds 5 billion. The project consists of 1200 mu “flower ocean” and 300 mu “Mount Lu Estate of World Architecture” and 700 mu commercial architecture (1 mu = 667 square meters). UNESCO and IUA selected 18 magnificent works from the MOLEWA International Competition as the core of the MOLEWA project. The project’s essential factors include culture, art, tourism, entertainment ……, embodying the ideas of environmental protection, intelligence, harmony between nature and human and sustainable development.
 
Our work was achieved Honorary Mention in MOLEWA International Competition. This is testifying once more byal’s outstanding capabilities in the sector. As a leading architecture and design firm, byal holds the belief "attitude changes life", for creating more influenced projects in the future. 

With the advanced development of technology, the natural environment is ruthlessly replaced by concrete jungles. It is in imminent need of people learning to respect and protect the natural environment. Therefore, the design proposes mimicking the existing topographical feature and at the same time, borrowing the scenery of continuous and rolling Lushan Mountain located merely 40km away from the site. This shape functionally introduces more sunlight to the space and by further integrating the idea of “flower” from Flower Sea Park into sky garden, it promotes various sustainable ideas like green roof. The whole idea is to create a novel image on contemporary commercial shopping centers and introduce people to a pleasant shopping experience like walking in the nature.
